Good Vibrations - Reiki Practice in the Royal
College of Surgeons
Reiki took place in the Royal College of Surgeons on the 15th
July in Stephens Green and 1st August in RCSI Beaumont. The purpose of practising
Reiki in the college was so spread awareness about Reiki and to provide a gentle,
non-invasive, relaxing treatment to the staff.
A total of 8 RFI members that are on the RFI Committee gave Reiki
over the two day period. 27 members of staff received Reiki in Stephens Green and
10 in Beaumont. Each session lasted 30mins.
The feedback from the staff was fantastic and below are some quotes
that were shared:
"After the treatment I felt much more relaxed and positive. I also
noticed that some tension I'd been holding seemed to have been released"
"The Practitioner was wonderful, she was very welcoming, open, and
I felt very comfortable with her which I didn't expect as this was my first time
to have this treatment"
"I was very struck by the fact that I could sense the energy field
even though my eyes were closed, I didn't expect that"
"It would hav
e been nice to have had more time"
"I had the best sleep, but still felt the vibration of the energy
from the Master"
Well done to all involved and I am delighted to announce that the RFI
practitioners are returning to both locations in the Royal College of Surgeons on
the 2nd & the 9th December respectively, offering 45min sessions and sharing
some more good vibrations. The staff will be given a further opportunity to relax,
feel re-energised, reduce stress levels - just in time for the Christmas Cheer!!!
Best Wishes,
Annemarie Creighton
